2) Definitions and Scope
“Customer” means any consumer as defined under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These T&Cs apply to all contracts concluded between Karaca Porcelain UK Limited and the Customer via the online shop. The version valid at the time of ordering applies.
3) Customer Account and Conduct
Where account creation is possible, login details must not be shared. Customers must keep their information accurate. We may suspend or delete accounts in case of misuse or fraud.
4) Conclusion of Contract
Product descriptions are invitations to order, not binding offers. By clicking “Confirm & Pay” you submit a binding order. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order, send a dispatch confirmation, or dispatch the goods. An acknowledgement of receipt is not acceptance.
5) Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices are in GBP (£), inclusive of VAT. Shipping costs and bulky item surcharges are displayed at checkout. In case of obvious pricing errors, we may withdraw from the contract under applicable law.
6) Payment
We accept credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Maestro), PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your card will be charged only at the time of payment. For Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, the provider’s terms apply.Invoices are usually sent electronically.
7) Delivery
We deliver only to UK addresses unless otherwise agreed. Delivery times shown are indicative. For advance payment, delivery starts after receipt of payment; for other methods, after contract conclusion. Partial deliveries are possible if reasonable. If goods are unavailable despite contract, we may withdraw and refund payments. Delivery times extend in cases of force majeure.
8) Risk and Title
Goods remain our property until full payment is received. Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery.
9) Right of Cancellation
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. To exercise this right, notify us clearly (e.g., by email or letter). You may, but do not have to, use the model form in Section 13.
10) Effects of Cancellation and Returns
Refunds will be made only after the returned goods are received and inspected. We may withhold reimbursement until goods are physically returned.
You must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation. Unless faulty or misdescribed, you bear the return costs. For UK returns, a flat fee of £5.99 per parcel applies and will be deducted from your refund. For faulty or misdescribed goods, we will bear the costs.
We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.
Voluntary Return Guarantee: In addition to your statutory right, we grant a further 16 days, giving you a total return period of 30 days. Goods must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with labels intact. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after receipt.
11) Exclusions from the Right of Cancellation
No cancellation right applies to:
- personalised goods,
- unsealed goods unsuitable for return for health/hygiene reasons,
- goods inseparably mixed after delivery,
- used home textiles.
12) Statutory Rights for Defects
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected. If goods are defective, you may reduce the purchase price or cancel the contract and obtain a refund.
